DSP and Modeling and Simulation Engineer

Fairwinds Technologies is a value-added systems integrator of C4ISR technologies providing communications, networking and information technology solutions to the US DoD, Intelligence Community and Department of Homeland Security.
Fairwinds is looking for innovators who can successfully execute across multiple disciplines as part of a small business environment.
An ideal candidate would be an out of the box thinker, develop innovative solutions, and ability to work in a small team environment.
This would include experience in Digital Signal Processing, Waveforms, Modeling and Simulation, and Combining Techniques to support transmission systems.
Work Directly with the VP of Engineering to define internal R&D Investment and develop multiple solutions for customers across the communications spectrum.
Looking for someone that has the ability to interact with customers, identify current issues and correct those to the customers satisfaction.
Fully Remote available for the right candidate.
Required Skills:
Masters of Science in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering10 years experience in Digital Signal Processing for Communications Systems.
10 years experience with Modeling and Simulation with Communications Systems.
Understanding of RF Design and Systems EngineeringUnderstanding of various Radio Waveforms and Access TechniquesUS CitizenActive Secret or higher DoD Security ClearanceAbility to not shy away from technical challengesAttitude of how it can be done, not how it can't be done.
Ability to brief Senior Leadership and Customers on Technical matters.
Ability to Develop and Review Code written in a Hardware Description LanguageProven history of developing DSP solutions on FPGA'sExperience with SATCOM and LOS systems.
Experience with Modeling, SATCOM and LOS link budgets for complex networks.
Experience with test automation, design and analysis using different tools (Python, MATLAB, Simulink or equivalent)Experience writing Technical White Papers, Presentations and ReportsAdditional Experience in these areas is a plus:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
