Senior Process Engineering Manager - Surface Mount Technology
Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group has partnered with a global leader in broadband satellite technology currently seeking a Senior Process Engineering Manager - Surface Mount Technology to join and directly support the electronic manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Manage SMT Process development team including coaching and mentoring, hiring, performance management and developmentDevelop and execute continuous improvement efforts to improve efficiency and utilization of production linesLead operations interface with design teams to review manufacturability/testability and develop/document a thorough production process plan early in design processDevelop and debug the required process and program to be used for production buildResponsible for optimizing the production process for maximum thruput with minimum labor costProvide on-going support for production process enhancements as needed to ensure high quality and the most cost effective and efficient manufacturing thru put.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's in manufacturing Engineering or related field8
years of experiencePrevious experience in SMT process developmentStrong engineering skills, with detail understanding of multiple manufacturing lines (Surface Mount Technology)Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with recruiting, hiring and retaining teamsExcellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skillsExperience within a lean manufacturing environment with demonstrated results and oriented leadership leading to continuous cost, quality and productivity improvementQualified candidates should send their resume AND call Sparks Group for additional details.
