As the Director, Computational Science and Partnership Research Division you will:
Provide scientific judgment, program and strategic planning, policy development, budget formulations, and the measurement of program performance by peer review and other metrics. Serves as a chief representative of the Office by communicating the program's scientific portfolio, defending the program's policies and scientific direction, and coordinating the management of multi-program activities Coordinate and implement multi-lateral program activities necessary to fulfill the Office mission including the communication and Integration of activities with other organizations, internal and external to the Department, both national and international organizations. Provide executive leadership and direction in establishing vision, strategic plans, goals, and objectives for the research and development (R&D) activities in applied mathematics and computer and data science conducted in DOE laboratories, academic institutions, and other public and private institutions Resume-Based Resume:

Executive Core Qualifications. Mandatory Technical Qualifications (MTQs):
A supplemental narrative must be submitted separately addressing each MTQ listed below. No more than one (1) page per MTQ is allowed; additional informational information will not be considered. MTQs must provide specific examples that address relevant experience and accomplishments. Applicants must reflect superior technical qualifications demonstrated through leadership and management in the following MTQs:
MTQ 1:
Demonstrate knowledge of and experience in strategic planning, budgeting, program management, and executing the activities required to implement research programs in applied mathematics, computer and data science, including emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, heterogeneous and distributed computing. MTQ 2:
Demonstrate capabilities in examining and ascertaining the research needs and opportunities of the overall DOE basic research program in computational science, including the applied mathematics, computer and data science, physical and biological sciences and allied fields against background knowledge of scientific and technological advances and of potential scientific/technical needs of DOE. MTQ 3:
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of computational science which encompasses, applied mathematics, computer and data science and physical sciences sufficient to develop computational partnerships that support more physically-realistic scientific simulations and models leading to discoveries and new insights that advance scientific knowledge and to provide day-to-day operational oversight and management of Advanced Scientific Computing Research's (ASCR) strategic research programs while serving as an expert on those programs when interacting with high-level/senior government officials, professional societies, and various other entities.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
