Lead Management Analyst

As a Lead Management Analyst, you will:
Serve as a coach, facilitator and/or negotiator among team members. Conceive of and formulate innovative, cutting-edge approaches to supporting mission-related research and development emphasizing integration between universities, DOE national laboratories and Industry, and supporting university scholarship, fellowship, and infrastructure needs conducive to promoting basic nuclear science and engineering education and research and development to meet the Nation's needs. Provide oversight of the planning and execution of the Consolidated Innovative Nuclear Research (CINR) annual workshop by completing the following activities:
coordinates with NE management and the integration office to plan workshop agenda; coordinates with program staff to develop R&D work scopes to announce at workshop; prepares presentations and acts as workshop host. Collaborate with the Office Director by working with Office of Public Affairs points of contact, Headquarters program analysts, Idaho Operations Office staff, and others as required, to prepare documents to support the budget, spend plans, guidance memos, and work authorization statements; prepare corporate performance quarterly reports and participate in associated presentations to management; participate in, and when assigned, lead weekly meetings/conference calls; and, provide support in response to press requests, requests for interviews, on the program. Represent the team in meetings with program directors, office directors and senior management on issues related to overall teams' objectives. As directed by the Office Director, performs similar activities supporting the NEET CTD, NEAMS, NSUF, SBIR/STTR, and RRI programs and associated staff. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Critical tasks include:
Ability to develop innovative competitive evaluation and award systems and processes in a dynamic work environment with continuously changing national emphasis, unpredictable changes in technology program focus, and at times a hostile press and public, to ensure that outside influences (e.g. public opinion and congressional, state or contractor pressure) do not bias or impede the program development process. Extensive knowledge of DOE and related programs' policies, principles, regulations, practices, and procedures and reporting requirements to provide support and guidance relevant to DOE's programs interaction with university, and other research partners to ensure that projects and program management principles and provisions are considered as an integral part of recommendations regarding the planning and execution of the NEUP and IUP. Ability to successfully execute a workshop in support of assigned program, including ability to prepare and deliver written and oral presentations of program information to professional and policy making audiences (e.g. executives, managers, researchers and engineers) in NE, DOE, other agencies, contractor firms, interest groups, and the general public and to brief other professionals as to conclusions and recommendations. Possess the knowledge and skill of assigned programs to provide program information and prepare documents in support of Management to address issues involving NEUP, CINR, and competitive financial assistance planning and execution, and also provide any relevant information to the public. Ability to communicate program activities and accomplishments and coordinates with the programs, the university community, DOE national laboratories and Industry by attending and providing presentations to targeted university workshops and audiences such as American Nuclear Society, Underrepresented Groups, Minority Serving Institutions, NNSA and NRC IUP workshops, and others. Ability to represent the overall team goals and objectives to Management. Ability to act on behalf of the Program Director as needed to support the mission of the office. volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
