As a Health Physicist at DOE, you will:
Conduct investigations of possible violations of the Department's nuclear safety enforcement program in accordance with 10 CFR 820 as authorized by the Atomic Energy Act. Determine facts, evaluates their cause and the effect on compliance with nuclear safety enforcement program specifically radiological protection. Develop an investigation plan; ensure an effective investigation; identify radiation protection and other nuclear safety issues and concerns; and guide the team in preparing the results of the investigation. Lead, direct and participate on teams that consist of one or more DOE federal or contractor personnel, and represent such occupations as engineers and specialists, chemists and chemical engineers, mechanical, nuclear engineers, and quality assurance specialists concentrating on programs and activities concerning design, construction, operation, and maintenance of all DOE reactors, non-reactor nuclear facilities, and non-nuclear radiological facilities. Serve as senior technical expert/nuclear safety enforcement specialist in the area of radiation protection. Program responsibilities include review of all aspects of the radiation protection program for the organization's missions and tasks. Serve as a senior compliance resource in a manner that ensures non-compliances with nuclear and radiological safety are identified and evaluated and promotes voluntary reporting of potential non-compliances. Conduct investigations and/or inspections of especially difficult, complex, and/or unusual circumstances to determine contractor compliance with DOE's nuclear safety rules, with a specific emphasis on radiological protection. Experience in planning and directing complex enforcement inspections and investigations and evaluating results of investigations from a technical perspective, recommending enforcement outcomes, and preparing technical evaluations. Ability to prepares and organize evidence used as exhibits during depositions, court hearings and at trial, testifies in Court, before Hearings Examiners or Administrative Law Judges when requested. Ability to serve as the senior expert and technical advisor on assigned programs as the senior technical expert/nuclear safety enforcement specialist responsible for evaluating results of investigations from a technical perspective, recommending enforcement outcomes, and preparing technical evaluations supporting legal sanctions using findings and determinations obtained as a result of investigations. Skill to prepare highly technical position papers representing the organization, and/or provides expert technical advice and assistance to junior health physicists. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
