Mechanical Assembler

Assemble mechanical components in an electronics and pneumatic work environment.
First and Second shift options.
Installs hardware and electronic parts in assemblies, using power equipment and hand tools.
Inspects parts visually for surface defects.
Perform as needed, other processes such as: potting, silk-screen work, conformal coating, hot melt, engraving, etc.
Ability to read and interpret assembly and process documentation.
Participates in 1st build of new products.
Use of dispatch and hot lists for work scheduling.
Assist supervisor in the absence of the Mechanical Group Leader.
Other duties as required.
High school graduate
Four (4) plus years of experience in mechanical assembly in electronics.
Knowledge of standard hand tools and power tools, and their proper use.
Very good assembly techniques and skills in assembly of fabricated parts and sub-assemblies using mechanical fasteners.
Recognition of standard hardware sizes.
Likes working with their hands
Great attendance and punctuality
Strong experience with the following processes: potting, conformal coating, and or hot melt.
Knowledge of testing or trouble shooting components.
Familiarity with pneumatic assemblies.
Familiarity with the settings and the proper utilization of Torque Drivers and Wrenches

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
