PDS is seeking a Design and Analysis Engineer for an open position in Germantown, MD.
In your role, you will:
Serve as a technical contributor to the developments of DRT software defined radio product lines.
Be responsible for the development of signal processing algorithms using field-programmable gate arrays, testing and validating the solutions to ensure the implementations meet operational and functional requirements.
Be expected to analyze and translate requirements into firmware designs and interface specifications.
As our ideal candidate, you will meet the following requirements:
Master's degree in Electrical
engineering
or related field and experience creating digital signal processing solutions on field-programmable gate arrays (or a Bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience).
Knowledge of digital communication theory principles such as modulation and channel coding.
Knowledge of digital signal processing principles such as filter design, FFTs and resampling theory.
Experience in either Xilinx or Altera design.
Experience coding in either Verilog or VHDL.
Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience.
Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
