skills, is energetic, creative and team oriented to work on latest SATCOM modem and networking technologies. o The individual will be part of an engineering team that develops embedded networking and application software using latest toolchains in an agile software development environment.o The position is based in our Germantown, Maryland office.Responsibilitieso Software design, development, integration and support activitieso Actively participate in software developmento Complete development tasks within agreed timeboxo Analyze and resolve software issues.Requirementso Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fieldo 5
years of software development experience in C/C+
and automated unit testingo Must currently hold Top Secret Clearance for this position.Preferred Qualificationso Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fieldo Experience with scripting languages Python/Shell, source control systems (e.g. GIT)o Experience with web development viz. HTML/Javascript/JQuery/node.jso Experience in Multi-threaded application development and inter-process communicationo Experience with networking protocols, messaging libraries, socket programmingo Experience of agile development methodology, especially Scrum and Atlassian tools like Jirao Good written and verbal communication skillso Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively within a team environmento Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
