Windows System Administrator with Security Clearance

Edgewater Federal Solutions is currently seeking a System Administrator to provide support to the DOE Office of Environment, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS) contract located in Germantown, MD.
Responsibilities:
Deploy, configure, and manage server hardware and operating systems such as Windows 2019/2022.
Deploy, configure, and manage storage appliances.
Deploy, configure, and manage the security implementation and maintenance of all IT equipment, including managing anti-virus software and vulnerability scanning.
Maintain and troubleshoot VMWare virtual server environment and all components.
Maintain a VDI environment including Zero Client terminals.
Maintain life cycle efforts of Systems Administration.
Administer Active Directory Domain Services, Active Directory Certificate Services, DNS, Group Policy, File/Print Services.
Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help manage internal networks.
Qualifications:
Minimum of four years of relevant experience with server operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policies.

S.
Citizenship is per contract to obtain and maintain a U.
S.
Department of Energy clearance.
Active DOE Q or Top Secret clearance is required.
Must demonstrate basic knowledge of server administration, security operations and concepts.
SANS Storage technologies and concepts.
Must be able to work independently, as well as perform in a group setting, and follow directions.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and collaboration with customers and peer IT administration staff.
Strong communication and collaboration skills; verbal and written.
Ability to develop and maintain complex technical documentation.
Ability to handle call out and weekend work as required or when assigned.
