Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take and develop dental x-rays - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform dental charting and documentation - Assist with medical coding and billing processes - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Epic or similar electronic medical records system - Provide support in pediatric dental procedures - Conduct patient assessments and record vital signs Requirements:
- Dental assistant certification or relevant experience - Proficiency in medical documentation and coding - Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic medical records system - Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred - Knowledge of CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations is a plus - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
