We are seeking a skilled X-ray Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical setting and be able to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs - Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly - Adjust equipment to obtain high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that images are properly labeled and stored - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and make diagnoses - Follow safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary radiation exposure - Discharge duties of a MA as applicable during times when not taking X-rays
Experience:
- Must have a degree in radiologic technology or a Limited license for X-rays in MD - Must be licensed by the state regulatory agency - Preferred 1 years of experience as an X-ray Technician in a medical setting
