$31 per hour (a bit more with experience)
Summary:
Employee is responsible for assembling printed circuit board assemblies with minimum supervision.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include hand soldering of components, perform touch-up, prep and after wave solder (Post Wave) secondary component insertion/ installation.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
High School graduate
Good experience in reading and understanding assembly drawings and processes.
Two (2) years' experience in PCB operations including prep, touch-up and hand soldering.
Hands on experience with organizational skills and problem solving.
Ability to use computer terminal and Oracle.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work without constant supervision.
Strategic and creative thinking to analyze issues that may arise and create solutions.
Ability to respond positively to feedback and implement change in process and procedures as needed.
Experience with Lead and/or Lead-Free Soldering Techniques.
Familiar with IPC-A 610C standards a plus.
Basic Understanding of Electronics Components and Polarity.
Physical Demands:
Employee is required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Employee is not required, but will have access to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Ear, Eyes and Hand protection
The Position requires the employee to be on-site during scheduled shift (7:00am to 3:30pm) to perform daily duties and responsibilities.
Requires daily interaction with coworkers on production line.
Work Environment:
The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electric tools, occasional loud noises and exposure to fumes.
