Trade Compliance Specialist

Our Client, a global BioTech & Clinical Diagnostics Manufacturer is looking to bring on Sr.
Specialist in Trade Compliance to their team.
This company focuses/ specializes in the production of diagnostic and life sciences testing kits.
The primary responsibility for this position is to field and answer questions related to import/export activities to and from the Americas.
This position will have heavy communication with internal logistics/ operations groups as well as 3rd party logistics providers.
Additional responsibilities for the position are listed below:
o Seeks business solutions to trade-related issues, and positively influences and contributes to the decision-making process with relevant partieso Stays informed and engaged with Customs and other agencies laws and practices in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and the rest of LATAM (whenever required)o Manages and provides advice and counsel regarding Americas trade-related issues through resolutiono Conducts regular reviews of import and export processes, brokers activities and complianceo Handling import & export trade/custom related processes for domestic/ international shipmentso Manage custom brokers, express/courier companiesSAP experience LCB Licensed Customs BrokerBachelors degree in a related field 3
years of experience in trade compliance, import/export, and customs regulations related to the Americas Covid Vaccination Recommended Skills Biotechnology Clinical Works Decision Making Diagnostic Skills Expediting Trade Compliance Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
