Boeings Missions and Payloads subsidiary Digital Receiver Technology (DRT) is seeking an RF (Radio Frequency) Hardware Design Engineer to join their team.
DRT designs, manufactures, and markets DSP-based Software-Defined Radios (SDR) globally.
Specific areas of expertise include DSP-based receiver design, communication systems theory, cellular / PCS / wireless communications, software, electronic packaging, digital and RF hardware design This Level 2 position will physically reside in Germantown, MD.
Position Responsibilities Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Assisting the design, simulation, and characterization of the analog / RF circuitry in receiver frontends Use test equipment to take circuit measurements and clearly document results Assist with the assembly and test of receiver module prototypes High initiative, attention to detail, and good debug skills required Work Authorization This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree in Electrical Engineering preferred Basic circuit analysis, microelectronic circuits (transistor operation and analog design) experience Coursework in RF or microwave circuit design preferably Test equipment experience Typical Education /
Experience:
Education / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (eg Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (eg Master).
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation:
This position will be located in Germantown, MD and does not offer relocation assistance.
This is not a negotiable benefit.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
