Patriot Urgent Care has an opening for an X-Ray Technologist to perform radiographic and other diagnostic imaging and assist providers in the examination and treatment of patients following established standards and practices, as directed by the physician leader.
Cross-train and assist in other areas of the clinic as operational needs require.

Responsibilities:
Perform clinical intake including but not limited to obtaining patients medical history, current medications & chief complaint, obtain vital signs, and record information within the electronic medical record.
Explain treatment procedures and prepare patient and exam room for examination.
Position instruments and equipment and hand to the provider as directed.
Clean equipment after use.
Administer medications, dress/bandage wounds, draw blood and assist physicians with other procedures.
Perform diagnostic tests including eye exams, electrocardiographs, audiogram, peak flow, and basic nursing functions.
Perform CLIA-waived lab tests, draw blood, and collect labels and process specimens for send-out.
Perform both DOT and Non-DOT urine drug screens, using proper chain of custody; ensure preparation for pick-up and shipment to appropriate laboratory.
(Certification training) Perform digital x-rays with proper positioning, shielding, and settings to produce quality images in a compliant, safe manner.
The complete medical chart to include medical services rendered, test results, and supplies used.
Perform patient callbacks, arrange referrals and testing, and schedule follow-up appointments.
Perform quality checks on medical equipment as directed/needed.
Assist registration staff and perform additional clerical duties as necessary.
Following the physician's orders precisely.
Key Requirements:
High school diploma Must have current State RT license Ability to accurately read and write medical terminology CPR certification Ability to work 12-hour shifts and weekend hours as needed Ability to escort or transport a patient by wheelchair or stretcher when appropriate Basic computer skills including familiarity with electronic medical records.
Types 25 words per minute with 96% accuracy Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills CRH Healthcare provides a professional work environment, a strong clinical support organization, and a competitive compensation and benefits package.
